This journey all started shortly after I quit my job as a cashier in a local casino and decided to finish schooling. If one thing has always been told to me, it was that with an education, you can never go wrong.



Well this is true to some degree as an education is not guaranteed to result in success.

So as I've been persuaded throughout my life by parents, teachers, friends, the media and other individuals, I went ahead and finished up with college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Happy that this journey of schooling was over, I was now ready to enter workforce strapped with a 4-year degree and couldn't wait for employers to fight over my services.



About 30 job applications later I sat at home with a case of beer thinking to myself what I was I doing wrong? Was I not trying hard enough? Is the economy that screwed up?  Was my field of study saturating the market? None of it made sense.



I wasn't going to allow myself to make excuses so I decided to venture out on my own in hopes retrieving any type of income I could get a hold of. This is when I discovered Internet Marketing.

This industry really intrigued me as the potential for income was so great yet 97% of Internet Marketers fail. Countless hours of reading through forums like Blackhat World, Money Maker Discussion and Warrior Forum gave me the answer that many people become overwhelmed and simply quit. SEO, article writing, outsourcing, affiliate marketing, web design and so many other components can't be learned overnight. I understood this and slowly gained knowledge in each facet of Internet Marketing and was soon making a little side money with email submits and web design for a few local companies.



Approximately a year later I was making a couple hundred bucks a month but was not satisfied and was hungry for more. I knew I had to step my game up and work harder. 



Having sold and bought a few items on Ebay over the years I decided to do a little research on E-commerce. The million dollar question was "How do these sellers get these items so cheap to make a profit?" I thought to myself that the majority of them had to be major retailers or had a really good wholesale connection. So began my Google search rampage for wholesale products. I would literally search anything that came to my mind or interested me and added "wholesale". DVD's, phones, tablets, clothing, video games, shoes, etc. After analyzing prices and calculating potential profits I decided to order a sample bunch of replica (call it counterfeit or not authentic if you like) T-Shirts from overseas that I thought would sell well. About a week later they came in. I couldn't believe the quality of these shirts as they were brand name manufacturers and were dead on style/material wise. Next step was to sell them online.



Having 10 shirts to sell I listed them on Ebay for a 5 day auction. All shirts sold for roughly $50 a shirt and my cost was $23 per a shirt. I couldn't believe it. It was my first strike at a niche that was very profitable. As soon as the PayPal money cleared I ordered a bigger batch of shirts and sales continued along with the profit. Feedback from customers was excellent and everything besides a few late shipments from my supplier were running smoothly. 



Then came a message from Ebay. Subject had read "MC999 Ebay Listing Removed."



I thought to myself, "Oh shit, they finally got me." Thinking they were going to suspend my account I was satisfied to learn that Ebay gives you 3 strikes before they suspend you. Knowing I had to be more careful I continued to sell for months.



Despite being both a Top-Rated and Power-Seller, I eventually reached my third strike and my account was finally suspended. Making tons of money to now this, I had no clue what to do to get back on Ebay. I was devastated.

So I went back to the Internet Marketing forums I mentioned earlier and researched. It was vital I learn how to go stealth. After countless attempts of trying create stealth Ebay and PayPal accounts I was not successful. It was hopeless. Ebay and PayPal will always eventually win. I was just about to give up like the other 97%.

Months passed and I was broke, drinking daily and just really didn't have a passion for anything. Yet E-Commerce would always cross my mind. I would be in a Walmart and see something on clearance and think to myself if their was profit to be made on it online. The itch was to severe not to scratch and I decided to jump back in the game and if anything just learn more about the industry.

As more time passed by I was surprised to learn of a few select members that were experts at this and I reached out for help and got it from a highly respected and knowledgeable guy.



A few days later, my new mentor hooked me up with a fresh new Ebay and PayPal account at a reasonable price. With this he also gave me some valuable information on how to stay under the radar. It was like nothing had ever happened and I was selling in no time.



Fast forward a few months later I'm now a partner with my fellow E-commerce guru trying to help others like us get back on Ebay and PayPal. 



So as I tell you this story I hope you don't give up. Just not on E-commerce or Internet Marketing but whatever it is you are passionate about. It may have been a long journey to get to this point but I'm glad I stayed persistent and never turned back. Of course there's going to be days when you just want to say "Fuck it!" and get a normal job behind a desk or a fast food counter but it's the people who don't give up and outwork others that will reap the benefits.
