The best American light beers are refreshing and dry, with minimal malt character and no bitterness. Here, there’s a light, sweet character in the aroma (described by one taster as “cidery;” another was reminded of Chardonnay) that seemed out of place. Still, it’s unlikely that anyone consuming this beer from an ice-cold can would notice.
